ULTRASOUND:
Ultrasounds represent a form of mechanical energy characterized by rarefaction and compression waves that propagate as a sine wave.
In clinical settings, in order to have full knowledge of what is the amount of energy to which the tissues are undergoing, it is essential
to be able to define carefully the exposure conditions both in terms of quality (frequency, amplitude, focus) and quantity ( intensity emitted).

RADIOFREQUENCY:
The diathermy is based on the ability to transfer biocompatible energy to the tissues by inducing from the inside displacing currents able
to generate a ionic motion of the biological substrate. The electromagnetic waves penetrate in the exposed tissues and produce heat due to
the energy absorption. The depth of penetration into the tissue depends from the frequency of the field and is greater at lower frequencies. |

MICROCURRENT:
The use of microcurrent differs from traditional treatments of conventional electrostimulation, these use current intensity measured in milliamperes,
while in microcurrents it's measured in micro-amperes. These currents are below the threshold of human sensitivity, so they are not perceived physically,
but still act anyway for treating effectively different types of imperfections in the total absence of pain and side effects and complications. |
